In the middle of the Mediterranean Sea lays Sardinia, an island witch hasn’t been overcrowded with mass tourism. Sardinia is a relatively isolated island that almost is suited for people who are searching for an overwhelming nature and quiet staying. Our large three room apartment, “Girasole” is established in La Caletta, a fisherman village close to Sisniscola. Girasole means sunflower en has been chosen because of the colours of our apartment. A sunflower symbolises sunlight, nature and summer.

On Sardinia nature shows us every year and every season it’s beauty: in winter it’s modest green,
in springtime enthusiastic flowering and at the end of summer the landscape is brown with
green bushes. In autumn and winter the sun shines regularly and temperature can be
very pleasant. You almost have the feeling that it looks like summer…almost!
Because in January and February, when elements of nature can rule freely
it can storm and rain……..can!
