La Caletta is a fisherman village at the north-east coast of Sardinia near by Siniscola and Posada. It has a lot of beautiful sandy beaches. The port is split into a commercial fisherman’s port and a marina which contains place for approximately 100 tourist boats.
La Caletta can be reached by air and sea. The most nearby seaports are Olbia, Golfo Aranci and Porto Torres. All major Italian ferry’s sail these ports. There are two airports for the north of Sardinia, Olbia and Alghero. The closest sea and airport is Olbia (35 miles). From here you can reach La Caletta in two ways, the tourist route over the SS125, or over the motorway (Super Strada SS131).
There is a wide offer of restaurants, pizzeria's, rosticeria’s, (coffee) bars and several shops which sell hand made ice-cream.
In La Caletta there are several supermarkets and grocers and there is a varied offer of shops which are open during the year.
In the village is an Internet point, which is opened daily during the summer months and in the remaining months three times a week in the evening hours.
